Welcome Back - Term 4

Already we have 1 week under our belts!

Maths - for weeks 1 and 2 we are learning about length and using non standard methods of measuring  length.

We measured how tall we were using paper strips.

We put gingerbread men in order from smallest to tallest

We drew our family from tallest to smallest.

We made play dough worms of varying lengths and then drew them.

Here is Danijela measuring objects around the room using unifix cubes.

Topic - Wow

We have had visitors from Hutt Intermediate sharing their creative designs from their wearable arts and 2 sessions exploring materials and methods for using materials like paper folding and tie dying techniques.

Some ideas from Ruru
